Founded in 1959 B.S., Ko Khi Dafa Khala is Harisiddhi's foremost Newa musical community — dedicated to keeping the ancient rhythms of the Kathmandu Valley alive through generations of devotion, ceremony, and celebration.

Dafa
The Ko Khin, Khin Dafa, Taa, and Jhyali form the heartbeat of our devotional music, passed down through six generations of Gurus.
Band Baja
Western brass joined our tradition in 1980 B.S. — clarinet, trumpet, tenor horn, and drums woven into the vibrant sound of our processions.
Basuri
The Basuri added before 1980 B.S. brings a soulful, melodic layer — accompanied by Madal, Bhushya, and Jhyali in every sacred ceremony.
